Several new roles are available for experienced sales specialists in a leading agency broker covering institutional clients for a newly established US business.
This leading and fast growth institution serves institutional clients in the fixed income market, with a focus on cleared IRS and listed derivatives, including futures and options. The firm has developed quantitative big data proprietary technology, setting it apart from competitors, driving rapid growth and deliveriing exceptional results for its clients.
Role:
The firm is currently seeking two motivated senior level individuals to join the team as a Hedge Fund Listed Interest Rate Futures and Options Salesperson at Director, or possibly Executive Director, level . These full-time, on-site roles will be based in the New York office and will involve selling and promoting acsuite of interest rate futures and options products. The successful candidates will leverage both platform-generated and self-created content, including trade ideas and market analysis, to engage with clients and facilitate trades.
Key Responsibilities:
• To promote and sell hedge fund interest rate futures and options products to institutional clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and trade execution.
• Utilase and create trade ideas, market analysis, and relevant content to enhance client interactions.
• Execute trades efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Expand business by developing new client relationships and enhancing existing ones, with support provided to build a personal franchise.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in Fixed Rate and Options sales
• Demonstrable track record in institutional Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) sales.
• Strong knowledge of listed interest rate futures and options products.
• Existing client relationships are highly desirable; however, strong product knowledge and sales acumen can compensate for fewer initial relationships.
• Experience in trade execution and a solid understanding of the relevant regulatory environment.
• Ideal applicants will have client rellationships that are portable.
Qualifications Sought:
• Experience in institutional IRS sales.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong product knowledge of interest rate futures, options, and swaps.
• Ability to execute IRS trades efficiently.
